"summary": "PT Karya Citra Nusantara (KCN) has stated that the recent protest by fishermen at Muara Cakung Drain in Cilincing, North Jakarta, was not aimed at their reclamation project but rather at Pelindo's NPEA development, which will fully cover the drain. KCN emphasised that their pier construction adheres to the Tanjung Priok and Marunda port master plan, does not encroach on fishing waters, and is fully permitted as a private, non-state-funded initiative. The company also highlighted prior community consultations in April 2024 that resolved concerns over maintenance dredging works.",
