Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has\nprepared health posts at every Whoosh high-speed train station to serve\nthe public during the 2026 Eid holiday period.<\/p>\n
\u201cHealth posts are available at every station. These health posts are\nalso prepared in case, for example, during the journey from Padalarang\nto Halim, there is a passenger in a very emergency condition. They might\nthen be dropped off at Karawang, where there is a health post that\nremains on standby. So, they are truly on alert if at any time there are\nconditions affecting passengers that may require initial assistance,\u201d\nsaid General Manager of Corporate Secretary at PT KCIC, Eva Chairunisa,\nto ANTARA in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n
According to Eva, the health posts at every Whoosh station do not\noperate independently, meaning these health posts coordinate and\ncollaborate with the nearest health facilities.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo we are already connected. For example, hospitals, puskesmas and\nthe like, we are already connected so that if, for example, there is an\nincident at Halim, we no longer have to worry because we already know\nwhich hospital is the nearest and we have already cooperated so that\nusually they can send an ambulance and so on. So these preparations are\nindeed very important,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we ask the public for their cooperation again, even though this\nis only about 30 minutes of travel from Jakarta to Bandung, the train\nstill cannot stop at any time if there are special passenger conditions,\nso usually if there is a passenger condition that we know from the\nbeginning is not possible to use Whoosh, they will not be allowed,\u201d she\nadded.<\/p>\n
For information, PT KCIC stated that for today\u2019s journey on Sunday,\n22 March 2026, the number of Whoosh passengers is predicted to reach\nmore than 21,000 as sales continue until the last departure.<\/p>\n
The increase in volume has been visible since 18 March 2026.\nCumulatively, Whoosh ticket sales during the Eid transportation period\nfrom 13 to 30 March 2026 have reached around 178,000 tickets and are\nprojected to continue increasing until the holiday period ends.<\/p>\n
PT KCIC has prepared 551 personnel for securing Lebaran 2026\nhomecoming mobility to ensure the smooth running of the holiday\ntransportation period.<\/p>\n
Eva said KCIC is committed to providing safe, comfortable, and\nreliable transportation services for the public during the Eid\ntransportation period.<\/p>\n
Eva explained that the security personnel consist of KCIC\u2019s internal\nsecurity officers, operational security officers, as well as support\nfrom TNI and Polri placed at stations, operational tracks, and depot\nareas.<\/p>\n
