        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has\nprepared more than 1,000 surveillance cameras or CCTV, along with\nspecial lockers for lost and found items, to anticipate belongings left\nbehind by passengers on Whoosh as well as in station areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause the recording is also quite good, we have more than 1,700\nCCTV cameras. So if there are left-behind items, they can be found by\nstaff or reported, so it\u2019s definitely safe,\u201d said KCIC Corporate\nCommunication Manager Emir Monti when met at KCIC Halim Station, East\nJakarta, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Emir stated that KCIC has provided lost and found lockers containing\npassengers\u2019 lost items.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers who feel they have lost something can contact the call\ncentre at 0811-8888-111 or go to station staff who are on standby to\ndirectly view the left-behind items.<\/p>\n<p>Emir mentioned that water bottles (tumblers) and tote bags (goodie\nbags) are the most frequently left behind on the Whoosh train during\njourneys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most common are water bottles and handbags like plastic bags or\ngoodie bags that are usually left behind,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, KCIC always reminds passengers to keep their carry-on\nitems secure during the journey until leaving the location.<\/p>\n<p>PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) recorded an increase in Whoosh\npassenger volume of around 11.3 per cent, reaching 224,827 passengers\nduring the 2026 Eid transport period from 13-25 March.<\/p>\n<p>This figure is an increase compared to the same period in 2025, which\nreached 202,007 passengers.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the temporary peak of the 2026 Eid transport occurred on\nTuesday (24\/3) with a volume of 24,315 passengers in one day.<\/p>\n<p>KCIC provides convenience for passengers who wish to reschedule with\na maximum of 15 minutes after the departure schedule.
