        "content": "<p>PT Bank KB Indonesia Tbk (BBKP), known as KB Bank, held an\nExtraordinary General Shareholders\u2019 Meeting (EGSMRA) on Thursday, 12\nMarch 2026 in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, shareholders approved several strategic agenda items,\nincluding changes to the composition of the board of commissioners and\nboard of directors as part of strengthening corporate governance and\naccelerating business transformation at KB Bank.<\/p>\n<p>In this agenda, the EGSMRA approved the resignation of Seng Hyup Shin\nas deputy chief commissioner of the company, effective upon closure of\nthe meeting. The EGSMRA also approved the appointment of Tae Doo Kwon as\ndeputy chief commissioner of the company.<\/p>\n<p>Tae Doo Kwon previously served as Head of Global Growth Support\nDivision at KB Kookmin Bank. Prior to this, he also served as Managing\nDirector of Global Business Group and General Manager of Global Planning\nDepartment at KB Kookmin Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the EGSMRA also approved the appointment of two new\nboard members: Ju Hwan Yi and Yungki Prabowo.<\/p>\n<p>Ju Hwan Yi has experience in risk management, including serving as\nExecutive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at KB Prasac Bank\nCambodia. Meanwhile, Yungki Prabowo previously served as Technology and\nOperations Director and Chief Technology Officer at Bank ANZ\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Their appointments become effective once confirmed by the company\nafter meeting all requirements set out in Financial Services Authority\nRegulation Number 27\/POJK.03\/2016 regarding the assessment of competence\nand suitability for key personnel of financial services institutions,\nand\/or other applicable legislation, as well as Financial Services\nAuthority Regulation Number 37\/POJK.03\/2017 concerning the utilisation\nof foreign workers and knowledge transfer programmes in the banking\nsector.<\/p>\n<p>KB Bank Chief Executive Officer Kunardy Darma Lie stated that this\nstrengthening of the leadership structure is a strategic step to ensure\nthe continuity of the bank\u2019s transformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis change in management composition is part of our commitment to\ncontinuously strengthen corporate governance, risk management, and\ndigital transformation on an ongoing basis.
