        "content": "<p>Commuter Line passengers accustomed to boarding and alighting at\nKaret Station must alter their travel routines starting today, Tuesday,\n1 September 2026. This is due to the station no longer officially\nserving passenger activities for the Commuter Line as the integration\nprocess with the New Sudirman or BNI City Station begins.<\/p>\n<p>This change is part of the restructuring of the Jabodetabek Commuter\nLine services. While the works are underway, Karet Station users will be\ndirected to use BNI City as a replacement station to continue their\njourneys.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers who previously used Karet Station can still access BNI\nCity from the area. KAI has provided a walkway adjacent to Karet Station\nthat serves as a path leading to BNI City Station.<\/p>\n<p>Electronic gate facilities, ticket counters, and halls on the western\nside of BNI City are also available. This area has been connected to the\naccess point from the Karet entrance, allowing passengers to continue\ntheir journeys without having to seek alternative access far from their\nprevious location.<\/p>\n<p>During the integration works, boarding and alighting services for the\nCommuter Line at Karet Station will be fully diverted to BNI City. This\nrestructuring process is scheduled to take place from 1 September to 31\nDecember 2026.<\/p>\n<p>KAI Commuter President Director Purnomo Sidi stated that the work is\nbeing carried out carefully, given the high level of public activity at\nKaret Station. \u201cDuring this integration process, preparations are being\nmade with a principle of caution, as Karet Station has become part of\nthe daily activities of Commuter Line users and the surrounding\ncommunity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He ensured that the diversion of services will remain in effect for\nthe duration of the integration works. \u201cDuring the work process,\nboarding and alighting services for Commuter Line users will be diverted\nto the New Sudirman\/BNI City Station,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, facilities are being prepared to support the integration\nof Karet Station and BNI City, specifically a travelator. This facility\nwill serve as a connecting access for users moving from the Karet area\ntowards BNI City.<\/p>\n<p>KAI plans to build an air-conditioned travelator to ensure that the\njourney to the station can be completed more comfortably. PT KAI\nPresident Director Bobby Rasyidin stated that the construction\npreparations for the travelator are targeted to take 70 days.<\/p>",
