        "content": "<p>Kalimantan's bridge pair won<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Indonesian bridge virtuosos Jusuf and Henry from<br>\nPontianak, West Kalimantan came unchallenged with a score of<br>\n1,755 in the Indonesian leg of the Ninth Epson Worldwide Bridge<br>\nTournament for 1994, the world's biggest bridge tournament to<br>\ndate.<\/p>\n<p>The one-day event was held simultaneously in five continents<br>\nand participated in by 100,000 bridge players from 90 countries.<br>\nAll results were sent via computer to the central committee in<br>\nParis which will later decide the final standings.<\/p>\n<p>In Indonesia, the contest was held in seven cities: Jakarta,<br>\nManado (North Sulawesi), Pati (Central Java), Bukitinggi (West<br>\nSumatra), Surabaya (East Java), Pontianak and Mataram (West Nusa<br>\nTenggara).<\/p>\n<p>The second place of the Indonesian leg of the tournament went<br>\nto Imam and Lutfi from Pati who scored 1,754. They were trailed<br>\nby Jakartans Joto and Nimara in third place. The super<br>\ninformation highway-based tournament ended last week. (hdj)<\/p>",
