        "content": "<p>Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the Indonesian Police\nwants vehicle tax payments to be as easy as buying mobile credit.\n\u2018Ladies and gentlemen, in relation to the revitalisation of public\nservices, during our Samsat coordination meeting, we expect tax payments\nto be as easy as buying credit,\u2019 said Kakorlantas Inspector General Agus\nSuryonugroho on Friday, 22 May 2026. The way to make paying vehicle tax\neasier is to provide electronic-based services in the one-stop\nintegrated Samsat system. \u2018We also hope that the Director of the Traffic\nDirectorate and his jajarannya will prioritise the revitalisation and\noptimisation of public services, including SINAR and SIGNAL; this should\nbe given priority to digital services,\u2019 he asserted. In addition to\ntargeting the taxation and driving licence services, digitalisation is\nalso being applied to the law enforcement sector through the launch of\nElectronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) Drone.
