        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, VIVA \u2013 Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the\nIndonesian National Police, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho,\nstressed the importance of a humanistic approach and digital\ntransformation in traffic law enforcement duties. One key step being\nreinforced is the use of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) for\nsurveillance and law enforcement. Agus praised the Regional Traffic\nDirectorates (Dirlantas) for actively building communication and rapport\nwith the public, including online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers and\nvarious road user communities. Humanistic approaches are crucial in\nfostering a culture of road discipline. \u2018I thank my colleagues in\nDirlantas for their efforts in embracing ojol drivers and communities,\nfostering mutual understanding, and planning to establish the Nusantara\nOjol Association,\u2019 Agus said. Ojol drivers are vital members of the\npublic who operate daily on roads and can serve as strategic partners\nfor the police in providing information and maintaining traffic safety\nand order. \u2018These are our brothers and sisters on the roads who can\nprovide information and engage in dialogue. Alhamdulillah, when I visit\nthe field, they are proud to be included,\u2019 he said. Agus further\nstressed that traffic police approaches now focus not just on\nenforcement or fines, but also on education, empathy, and closeness with\nthe public. Digital transformation through ETLE is a step towards\ntransparent, modern, and fair law enforcement. \u2018Our approach is no\nlonger just about fines or strict enforcement, but about empathy. You\nmust be close to the public, embrace them. When they feel included and\nengaged in dialogue, they feel ashamed to commit violations,\u2019 Agus\nsaid.<\/p>",
