        "content": "<p>Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational\nArea (Daop) 6 Yogyakarta has confirmed that all train journeys in its\noperational region are safe following the earthquake that occurred on\nThursday (20\/8) at around 5.20 pm local time.<\/p>\n<p>KAI Daop 6 Yogyakarta Public Relations Manager Feni Novida Saragih\nsaid that to ensure operational safety, all train sets were temporarily\nhalted for extraordinary stops to undergo thorough inspections of\ninfrastructure and rolling stock.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPost-earthquake inspection of infrastructure and rolling stock is a\nstandard procedure that must be carried out by KAI to ensure safety\naspects are maintained. At 5.42 pm local time, all lines were declared\nsafe and train journeys resumed,\u201d said Feni in a written statement.<\/p>\n<p>The emergency inspections carried out by KAI\u2019s technical team covered\nthe reliability of bridges, railway tracks, supporting facilities, and\nthe physical condition of train sets.<\/p>\n<p>Several trains experienced delays, including KA 282 Bengawan (25\nminutes), KA 707 Commuterline Palur\u2013Yogyakarta (24 minutes), KA 2751f\nCilace Trans (24 minutes), KA 7006 Batavia (24 minutes), KA 568 Bandara\nYIA (24 minutes), KA 86b Sancaka (23 minutes), KA 506 Prameks (22\nminutes), KA 251b Jayakarta (19 minutes), and KA 2605 Cilawalu Service\n(19 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, KA 2722 Kalem Service (19 minutes), KA 247c Logawa (17\nminutes), KA 62b Manahan (17 minutes), KA 107b Senja Utama Yk (15\nminutes), KA 158 Wijaya Kusuma (14 minutes), KA 575a BIAS (12 minutes),\nKA 70 Malabar (11 minutes), KA 532 Bandara YIA (11 minutes), KA 151\nBrantas (10 minutes), and KA 726 Commuterline Yogyakarta\u2013Palur (10\nminutes) were also delayed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKAI Daop 6 Yogyakarta apologises for the inconvenience experienced\nby passengers and appreciates customers\u2019 patience during the security\ninspection process,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
