PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daerah Operasi (Daop) 3 Cirebon is prepared\nto service the Motis Angkutan Lebaran 2026 Programme (Free Motor\nTransport for Eid 2026).<\/p>\n
The Motis Angkutan Lebaran 2026 programme, organised by the\nDirectorate General of Railways (DJKA) under the Ministry of\nTransportation, opened registrations beginning Sunday, 1 March through\n29 March 2026. The programme will operate during the exodus period on\n13-19 March 2026 and the return period on 24-30 March 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cDaop 3 Cirebon will service Motis Tengah on the\nKampungbandan\u2013Lempuyangan route (two return trips) and Motis Utara on\nthe Kampungbandan-Cepu route (return trip). Both will stop at Cirebon\nPrujakan Station,\u201d stated Muhibbuddin, Public Relations Manager of Daop\n3 Cirebon, on Monday (2 March).<\/p>\n
He explained that the Motis programme represents one of the\ngovernment\u2019s efforts to support smooth Eid exodus operations, reduce\ntraffic congestion on roads, and improve the safety of motorcycle\ntravellers. Daop 3 Cirebon will provide full support for the smooth\nimplementation of the Motis programme in its region.<\/p>\n
\u201cTravellers\u2019 motorcycles will be transported using railway freight\ncars, whilst their owners can enjoy their journey on economical\npassenger trains that are safer and more comfortable,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Participant Requirements<\/p>\n
By participating in this programme, the public can continue using\nmotorcycles in their home villages without having to travel long\ndistances, which naturally poses safety risks.<\/p>\n
\u201cDaop 3 Cirebon is ready to provide full support for the smooth\nimplementation of the Motis programme in the Daop 3 region,\u201d said\nMuhibbuddin.<\/p>\n
He therefore encouraged the public to utilise the Motis programme as\na safer, more comfortable, and efficient exodus solution.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe registration requirements for Motis stipulate that participants\nmust not be registered or participating in any other free exodus\nprogrammes organised by any party,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Other requirements include that travellers who have registered with\nthe Motis programme must participate, and if they withdraw or cancel,\nthey cannot participate in the programme in subsequent years.\nAdditionally, Motis participants must possess a national identification\ncard (KTP), family card (Kartu Keluarga), Class C driving licence, and a\nmotorcycle with a maximum engine capacity of 200 cc.<\/p>\n
