        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 A total of 63,000 tickets under a railway transport\ndiscount programme remain available as of today, six days before Eid\nal-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, for departures from various stations within the PT\nKereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Jakarta Regional Operations Division\n(Daop 1).<\/p>\n<p>The government is providing economic stimulus in the form of a 30 per\ncent discount on railway tickets for the travel period of 14-29 March,\nexclusively for the economy commercial class. Nationally, there are 1.2\nmillion economy commercial class seats available.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpecifically for Daop 1 Jakarta, there are 329,000 economy\ncommercial class seats. The remaining seats (latest data as of 15 March\n2026) stand at 63,000 seats,\u201d said Jakarta KAI Daop 1 Public Relations\nManager Franoto Wibowo in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the 2026 Lebaran Transport period has been set from 11\nMarch to 1 April. The company has provided a total seating capacity of\n1,076,196 seats, with current total bookings reaching 705,727 tickets,\nleaving 368,123 seats still available.<\/p>\n<p>Cumulatively, from the start of the 2026 Lebaran Transport period\nuntil today (11-15 March), Franoto said that the total number of\npassengers departing Jakarta reached 227,911 people, whilst the volume\nof arriving passengers was recorded at 114,661 people.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the monitoring of Lebaran travel flows across all stations\nwithin KAI Daop 1 Jakarta\u2019s operational area today, he reported that the\nvolume of departing passengers reached 52,008 people, whilst the arrival\nvolume totalled 25,454 people.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the station with the highest number of departing\npassengers was Pasar Senen Station with 19,745 people, followed by\nGambir Station with 16,528 people and Bekasi Station with 6,941\npeople.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure smooth operations, Franoto said that the company has\nprovided 68 regular train journeys each at Gambir and Pasar Senen\nStations, as well as 12 additional train journeys from Gambir Station\nand seven additional train journeys from Pasar Senen Station daily.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that Pandalungan, Argo Semeru, Gunungjati, Cakrabuana,\nPangandaran, and Batavia have become the favourite trains for passengers\nat Gambir Station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeanwhile, the favourite departure trains from Pasar Senen Station\ninclude Bengawan, Airlangga, Serayu, Kertajaya, Jayakarta, and Progo,\u201d\nsaid Franoto Wibowo.<\/p>",
