        "content": "<p>PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is adding train services and\nincreasing passenger capacity to provide additional mobility options for\nthe public amid rising travel demand.<\/p>\n<p>This service adjustment is being implemented through the operation of\nthree additional trains and capacity increases on several regular\ntrains. The move is part of KAI\u2019s readiness to provide transport\nservices for the public while prioritising safety, comfort, and smooth\noperational performance of train travel.<\/p>\n<p>KAI Vice President Corporate Communication Anne Purba said KAI\ncontinues to monitor public travel needs and prepares services that\nmatch operational conditions on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKAI continues to ensure the public has access to safe and\ncomfortable rail transport through travel service adjustments. Every\ntravel arrangement is made with attention to the readiness of rolling\nstock, infrastructure, and safety aspects,\u201d said Anne.<\/p>\n<p>This service adjustment is part of KAI\u2019s readiness to anticipate\nincreased passenger transport demand due to the volcanic conditions of\nMount Anak Krakatau. KAI continues to coordinate and monitor the\nsituation to ensure train travel remains safe and controlled.<\/p>\n<p>The three additional train services being operated are:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Additional train for the Yogyakarta\u2013Gambir route, departing from\nYogyakarta Station at 18.20 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Additional train for the Malang\u2013Gambir route, departing from Malang\nStation at 20.15 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Additional train for the Semarang Tawang\u2013Gambir route, departing\nfrom Semarang Tawang Station at 20.15 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to providing extra services, KAI is also increasing\ncapacity on two regular trains, namely:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 KA Anggrek on the Surabaya Pasar Turi\u2013Gambir route.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 KA Gumarang on the Surabaya Pasar Turi\u2013Pasar Senen route.<\/p>\n<p>Anne urged customers to prepare their journeys well and to check the\nlatest information through the Access by KAI application, KAI\u2019s official\nwebsite, and other official information channels.<\/p>\n<p>Amid the volcanic activity of Mount Anak Krakatau, KAI also advises\ncustomers to maintain their health during travel, including wearing\nmasks when necessary, especially for those with sensitivity to volcanic\nash exposure or air quality in affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKAI invites customers to arrive at the station early, confirm their\ntravel schedule, and follow staff instructions so that journeys proceed\nsafely and comfortably,\u201d Anne concluded.<\/p>",
