Kahf has launched Global Ramadan Connect 2026 as part of its Bener
Bareng campaign to foster cross-border togetherness, particularly for
Muslims living far from family or in Muslim minority contexts. ‘Ramadan
always brings us back to a journey of self-improvement. Yet we also see
that many Muslim men in cities around the world undertake this process
without a travel companion. Through Global Ramadan Connect, Kahf aims to
build a simple yet meaningful space where people can feel comfortable
learning, reflecting, and growing together,’ said Andrie Kurniarahman,
Group Head of Brand Development, Male Grooming, Personal Care &
Innovation at ParagonCorp, in a written statement on Thursday, 5 March
2026.

The series began on 24 February 2026 in Jakarta, attended by 650
participants, and then continued to 27 other Indonesian cities, reaching
more than 800 additional participants. The initiative then expanded to
Madinah (27/2), Chiba (28/2), New York (1/3), Makkah (2/3), London
(7/3), culminating in Kuala Lumpur, as a space for men’s communities to
share, learn, and support one another during Ramadan, with a consistent
format in each city: gathering moments, a reflection space, and small
steps of self-improvement undertaken together.

Global programme this year was held in six countries and seven major
cities, connecting more than 8,150 participants worldwide. The series
included 250 iftar packages in Madinah, 100 participants in Chiba, 250
participants in New York, distribution of 5,000 iftar packages in
Makkah, 900 participants in London, and 200 in Kuala Lumpur, with reach
expanding through digital amplification and cross-continental
collaboration. From Madinah to London, Kahf carries the same message:
becoming better is easier when done together.

In Saudi Arabia, in addition to providing iftar at Masjid al-Haram,
Kahf also hosted a Qur’an recitation correction session of Al-Fatihah in
the courtyard of Masjid Nabawi for visitors from various countries. In
Japan, Kahf collaborated with Dr Kyoichiro Sugimoto, Chairman of Chiba
Islamic Cultural Center, to open space to study the Qur’an using the
IQRO’ method for local Muslims and converts facing material limitations
in the Japanese language. In the United States, an iftar was held at The
Islamic Center of New York City, in collaboration with the community
platform @Muslim,
highlighting the diversity of the diaspora community.
",
