        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin\nIndonesia) has launched the Kadin AI Academy as a strategic move to\nstrengthen the quality of the national human resources (SDM) while\nbridging the skill gaps in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n<p>In a statement from Jakarta on Thursday, Kadin Indonesia Chairman\nAnindya Bakrie said the programme is expected to drive inclusive AI\nusage across the business world, the workforce, and MSMEs in various\nregions.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that AI adoption among national business players is now more\ntangible and is beginning to shape new expectations for the future of\nIndonesia\u2019s business landscape.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the Kadin AI Academy was undertaken during a seminar\ntitled \u2018AI and the Future of Human Capital\u2019 held at Kadin Indonesia\nTower in Jakarta on Wednesday, 20 May.<\/p>\n<p>He further revealed that, based on the Kadin Indonesia Business Pulse\nQ1-2026 survey, positive perceptions among the business community toward\ntechnology developments, particularly AI, have risen significantly.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Q4 2025 figure shows that nearly all surveyed business actors\ndescribed technological developments as a source of positive growth for\ntheir businesses. Yet three months later, in Q1-2026, the figure jumped\nto 22 per cent. Twenty-two per cent of business actors view\ntechnological developments, especially AI, as a source of optimism for\nthe business world,\u2019 said Anin.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the surge provides a strong signal that AI uptake is\nbecoming real for Indonesian business players.<\/p>\n<p>Anin stressed that AI has now touched all segments of the business\necosystem, from large industries, students and job seekers, MSMEs, to\nentrepreneurs who are reorganising their workflows.<\/p>\n<p>At the event, he also outlined principles that should guide AI\nadoption in Indonesia. First, AI must be inclusive and not widen the gap\nbetween those who are already advanced and those left behind. Second, AI\nshould be positioned as a productive technology, not a substitute.\nThird, AI should be an accelerator of national economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018AI should help Indonesians work more intelligently, faster and with\ngreater impact,\u2019 Anindya said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the use of AI is considered important to support the\nnational economic growth target of 8 percent that has been set by\nPresident Prabowo Subianto.<\/p>",
