        "content": "<p>Monday, 15 June, 2009 | 20:58 WIB<\/p>\n<p>TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) has called for more protection for the domestic market to maintain the pace of the economic recovery, citing the importance of market availability.<\/p>\n<p>Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Rahmat Gobel said on Monday (15\/6) at the Department of Economy, that being one of the countries with positive growth during the economic downturn, Indonesia should take advantage of this condition to improve its competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>Rahmat took cited the electronic appliances industry which turned Indonesia into one of its main production bases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe industry should be protected from illegal imports,\u201d a measure Rahmat said would draw direct investments for business.<\/p>\n<p>AGOENG WIJAYA<\/p>",
