"summary": "The collision between the Argo Bromo Anggrek long-distance train and a KRL commuter train near Bekasi Timur Station has resulted in 14 deaths and 84 injuries, prompting deep condolences from Commission V DPR Chairman Lasarus. He has urgently called on the government to address the thousands of unmanaged level crossings across Indonesia, which he identifies as a persistent cause of railway accidents. Despite years of warnings to Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) and the Ministry of Transportation, progress remains inadequate, with data showing over 3,700 such crossings still in need of proper management as of 2025.",
