I grew depressed when I learned about the planned parking fee,

\npeople living on a shoestring budget? Especially people who have
\nbought a car on an installment plan.<\/p>\n
Taking the toll road costs money. Paying retribution for the
\nthree-in-one zone if one's office happens to be in that area is
\nexpensive. Paying parking fees may be exceed the price of items
\nat the mall.<\/p>\n
Jakarta's air has not improved with the ever-increasing
\naddition of cars, aggravating traffic congestion and the already
\nstressful condition of the general public.<\/p>\n
The Jakarta Administration and its legal counselors should be
\ndrafting a ruling that would be applicable to every citizen. Like
\nreviving old-fashioned bike riding.<\/p>\n
In a healthy body lives a healthy spirit. What about making
\nthe three-in-one zone a biking area instead of making it an
\nattraction for special events alone. Take a look at the
\nNetherlands and the U.S.. Young executives and members of the
\nLower House pedal or skate to work, or as far as the train
\nstation, on bikes and roller blades.<\/p>\n
Cars are used only for long-distant occasions, which are hard
\nto reach by general transportation.<\/p>\n
This way, parking lots can be kept at manageable levels.
\nSecurity guards could take care of the bicycles and be paid well
\nto discourage thefts, or, special frames should be built for
\nparked bikes. This way, Jakarta's air would be less polluted and
\na sense for sport could be developed among the public.<\/p>\n
Do not worry that riding a bike would lower one's standing.
\nBikes can be very expensive, with some types costing tens of
\nmillions of rupiah.<\/p>\n
