Junior soccer draw announced<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Soccer Association drew the ties
\nyesterday for the under 14 Nike International Premier Cup Asia
\nPacific at the Kartika Chandra Hotel yesterday.<\/p>\n
South Korea, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the
\nPhilippines and host Indonesia will compete in the championship
\nat the Sumantri Brodjonegoro stadium in South Jakarta from June 2
\nto June 7.<\/p>\n
The drawing was witnessed by the Senior Vice President of
\nAsian Football Confederation, Nabon Noor, and worked out which
\nteams will play in the preliminary rounds.<\/p>\n
Nike's Asia Pacific sports marketing director, Thomas Fox,
\nsaid \"through this championship, we expect to increase children's
\nsoccer ability, thus creating the potential for skilled players
\nin the future\".<\/p>\n
\"Besides that, our mission is to develop Asian countries as
\nthe future power house of soccer,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Nike has also invited an international coach from Philips
\nSport Vereniging Netherlands to run a coaching clinic and skills
