        "content": "<p>Jumping into SEA Games<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Officials of the Indonesian Aero Sports<br>\nFederation are planning to stage a parachuting exhibition event<br>\nat the 19th SEA Games here in October.<\/p>\n<p>\"We really look forward to staging parachuting at the games<br>\nand I assume it can be done since Indonesia is hosting the<br>\nevent,\" Satria Tubagus, the federation's chairman, said during<br>\nthe 15th anniversary celebrations of the organization over the<br>\nweekend.<\/p>\n<p>Satria said that Indonesia was still a leader of aero sports,<br>\nespecially parachuting, in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p>But he admitted that aero sports were very expensive and<br>\nunaffordable for most people.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia, which has international experience in parachuting<br>\nand gliding events, plans to take part in the Aero Sports<br>\nOlympics in Turkey in September.<\/p>\n<p>The federation has hosted several international events,<br>\nincluding the World Parachuting Championship in Senayan, Jakarta,<br>\nin 1991 and the Sixth Skydiving World Canopy Formation<br>\nChampionship in Lido, Bogor, West Java, in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia regularly competes in the ASEAN Parachuting<br>\nChampionships, which it won last year in Kuala Lumpur.
