        "content": "<p>The Judicial Commission (KY) is monitoring three cases that are still\nin court at the Mataram District Court. The cases are the murder of\nBrigadier Esco Faska Rely; the murder of Ni Made Vaniradya Puspa Nitra,\na student of Universitas Mataram (Unram); and the gratification case\nknown as the \u2018ghost money\u2019 involving three members of the NTB Regional\nHouse of Representatives (DPRD NTB).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKY conducts monitoring to ensure the proceedings run in accordance\nwith statutory provisions and to prevent violations of the judges\u2019 code\nof ethics and conduct,\u201d said Abhan, head of the KY Division for the\nSupervision of Judges and Investigations, when met at Mataram District\nCourt on Friday, 22 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Abhan explained that the three cases are drawing attention because of\npublic interest and a request from Commission III of the DPR RI. He\nemphasised that KY is still delving into alleged irregularities by\njudges during the proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will conduct deeper investigations beyond what is observed in the\nsession. At present, we cannot draw conclusions,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Abhan outlined that the monitoring of the trial processes is carried\nout directly by KY representatives or via monitoring by letter. Direct\nmonitoringalso includes video documentation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the monitoring, if there are suspected judicial violations, we\nwill certainly follow up further, but this will be done after a thorough\nexamination of the monitoring results,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>For clarity, the murder case of Brigadier Esco Faska Rely involves\nsix defendants. They are Brigadier Rizka Sintiyani, Siaun, Nuraini,\nPaozi, and Dani Rifkan.<\/p>\n<p>Next, the murder case of Ni Made Vaniradya Puspa Nitra involves\ndefendant Radiet Adiansyah. Meanwhile, the trial of the NTB DPRD\u2019s\n\u2018ghost money\u2019 gratification case comprises three defendants: Hamdan\nKasim, Indra Jaya Usman, and Muhammad Nashib Ikroman.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, all three cases are still in the examination phase. Abhan\nstressed that KY will monitor these trials up to the verdict stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will monitor until the processes are completed in court and even\nto the cassation level,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
