JTCC offers free workshop<\/p>\n
YOGYAKARTA: Along with the development of tourism industry in the
\ncity, the professionalism of employees in the industry must also
\nbe upgraded and therefore the Gadjah Mada University's Jogjakarta
\nTourism Training Center (JTCC) is offering a free workshop for
\nfront office employees of non star-rated hotels in the city.<\/p>\n
The workshop, jointly organized by the local municipality's
\ntourism, art and cultural office, is scheduled for June 21 and
\nJune 22 to take place at Ruba Graha Hotel on Jl. Mangkuyudan. It
\nwill focus on the concept of service in the front office, said
\nJTCC's general affairs manager Hairullah Gazali.<\/p>\n
The front office department, he said, was considered important
\nbecause it is directly related to the consumers and was also one
\nof the main departments that colored the quality of the service
\nin a hotel.<\/p>\n
"The program is designed to improve the knowledge and skills
\nof the human resources of non star-rated hotels that is developed
\nfrom competence-based training of a national standard," said
