JSX opens new info center<\/p>\n
YOGYAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) launched an
\ninformation center at the University of Duta Wacana here Friday.<\/p>\n
\"I hope this facility will give a better chance to society to
\ntake part in the development process, especially in the field of
\ninvestment,\" the university's rector Aristarchus Sukarto said in
\na speech.<\/p>\n
JSX's corporate secretary Saka Abadi said Duta Wacana's
\ncapital market information center, better known as the JSX
\ncorner, was the 18th it had launched since 1995. The centers were
\nlocated in Jakarta, Medan, Bandung, Ujungpandang, Denpasar,
\nMalang, Semarang and Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n
Yogyakarta has five JSX corners. Four others are at AMP YKP
\nManagement College, Gadjah Mada University, the Widya Wiwaha
\nSchool of Economy and the Islamic University of Indonesia.<\/p>\n
According to Saka Abadi, the so-called stock corner would only
\nprovide information on capital market activities<\/p>\n
\"That way the community and academic society will have a place
\nwhere they can learn about how to conduct good and fair trade,\"
