        "content": "<p>JSX delays plans for delisting measure<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) said on<br>\nThursday it had delayed until Sept. 12 plans to delist four<br>\ncompanies.<\/p>\n<p>The four companies are PT Super Mitory Utama, PT Dharmala<br>\nSakti Sejahtera, PT Daya Guna Samudra and PT Bintuni Minaraya.<\/p>\n<p>JSX earlier planned to delist the four companies on Sept. 1,<br>\nbut the agency said in a statement on Thursday it had decided to<br>\ndelay the delisting until Sept. 12 \"to provide adequate<br>\ninformation to the public, especially investors\".<\/p>\n<p>JSX suspended trading in shares of the four companies on July<br>\n29 after they failed to complete their 1999 financial reports by<br>\nthe extended deadline of July 24.<\/p>\n<p>JSX said it had given numerous warnings to the companies<br>\nbefore suspending the trading of their shares.<\/p>\n<p>JSX said investors could still buy and sell shares of the four<br>\ncompanies through \"negotiation\" for 20 days prior to their<br>\ndelisting, or from Aug. 14 to Sept. 11.<\/p>\n<p>It further said the companies could relist their shares six<br>\nmonths after being delisted at the earliest, providing they<br>\nfulfill all requirements.
