        "content": "<p>JP\/NATIONAL NEWS<\/p>\n<p>&apos;Black&apos; politicians<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of activists for democracy, hailing from various non-<br>\ngovernmental organizations (NGOs), converged yesterday at <br>\nProklamasi Monument in Jakarta to declare the National Movement <br>\nof Anti-Black Politicians.<\/p>\n<p>Politicians considered bad, or &quot;black&quot;, are those found to <br>\nhave been implicated in corruption, abuse of power, human rights <br>\nviolations, sex and drug scandals as well as in projects damaging <br>\nthe environment and other immoral conduct harmful to the people.<\/p>\n<p>The declaration constitutes an early campaign against &quot;black&quot; <br>\npoliticians, as the NGOs were expected to make such a move across <br>\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The movement deserves the full support of all parties to <br>\nuphold the country&apos;s dignity and to improve the national <br>\ncondition.<\/p>\n<p>The 2004 general elections must be made a success by electing <br>\nleaders who give priority to people&apos;s interest.
