Gresik to finish 2002 report in March: The country's largest
\ncement maker PT Semen Gresik hopes to be able to complete the
\naudit of its consolidated 2002 financial accounts by March 2004,
\nthree months later than originally planned. Company president
\nSatriyo did not provide clear reasons for the delay. He said on
\nTuesday a new auditor would be selected next week from three
\ncandidates including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, and
\nKPMG. The publicly listed firm has not been able to submit its
\naudited financial report for 2002 mainly due to employee protests
\nat its West Sumatra subsidiary PT Semen Padang. -- JP<\/p>\n
West Natuna gas supply being restored: The leak in the 650-
\nkilometer underwater pipeline which supplies natural gas from
\nWest Natuna's offshore gas producers (ConocoPhilips, Star Energy
\nand Premier Oil) to Singapore's Sembawang Corp. has been
\nisolated, Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) said on its
\nwebsite. It added that partial gas supply of up to 65 percent of
\nthe Gas Sales Agreement was being restored. The partial
\nrestoration is expected to be completed by Wednesday morning.
\nPower generation companies using the natural gas, such as Senoko
\nPower, PowerSeraya and Tuas Power continue to use alternative
\nfuel for electricity generation to make up for the shortfall of
\nnatural gas. The incident did not disrupt electricity supply to
\nconsumers on the island-state, EMA said --JP<\/p>",
