Officer shoots three, kills himself<\/p>\n
INDONESIA: A police officer in the Central Java town of
\nSalatiga shot three people, reportedly out of jealousy, before
\nfinally killing himself on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Chief Brig. Alex Suwondo, 47, a widower, shot the three people
\nidentified as Maria Tuti Maryaningsih, 35, Supriyanto, 34, and
\nMaria's husband, Agus Eko Supriyanto, 36. The first two died of
\ngunshot wounds to their heads.<\/p>\n
The incident took place at a cafe and karaoke house in
\nArgomulyo district.<\/p>\n
Reports said that Maria and Alex were lovers before their
\nrespective marriages, while Alex's wife had an affair with Eko in
\nthe past.<\/p>\n
Salatiga Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Wanto Sumardi said Alex
\nshot Maria and Eko shortly after he found the couple together in
\nthe cafe. Another visitor, Supriyanto, tried to stop the fight
\nbut was shot dead.<\/p>\n
Alex then shot himself in the head.<\/p>\n
Eko was rushed to Elizabeth Hospital in the neighboring town
