CIMANGGIS, West Java: Jamilah of Banten finished with a one-
\nunder par 71 on Thursday to sweep the West Java Ladies Amateur
\nOpen Golf Championship by eight strokes.<\/p>\n
The 35-year-old veteran carded a 54-hole total of 215 (73-71-
\n1) to beat 17-year-old Perth based Singaporean Heng Su-Ann (223)
\nand Jakarta's Retno Purwandari (224).<\/p>\n
Jamilah said experience taught her to focus on her own game.<\/p>\n
\"I would always try to do what the other golfers were doing,\"
\nshe was quoted as saying in a release from the tournament
\norganizer. \"That was wrong. Being older now, I realize that
\ncontrolling yourself is most important in golf.\"<\/p>\n
Jamila and Retno, who was part of the historic gold-winning
\nteam at the 2001 Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) in Malaysia, beat
\nthe three national squad members who are in training for this
\nyear's event in Manila in November.<\/p>\n
Like Retno, national team member Juriah also scored 224 but
\nwas awarded fourth place on countback, followed by teammates
\nLidya Ivanna Jaya in sixth and Risti Yurindra Putri in 10th.<\/p>\n
\"We have to concede that the play of the national team members
\nis still inconsistent,\" the daily operations chief of the
\nIndonesian Professional Golfing Association, Avie K Utomo, said.<\/p>\n
\"I hope that before their play will be better before they

WASHINGTON: Although they have had a losing record on the
\nfield the last three seasons, the Washington Redskins are the
\nNFL's biggest winners when it comes to making money.<\/p>\n
For the sixth straight year, the Redskins are atop Forbes
\nmagazine's annual list of NFL franchise valuations at US$1.26
\nbillion. The value has increased 15 percent since last year, when
\nWashington became the first American sports team to pass the $1
\nbillion mark with a value of $1.1 billion.<\/p>\n
This year, Redskins are one of three NFL teams valued at more
\nthan $1 billion. The archrival Dallas Cowboys are worth $1.06
\nbillion. The defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots

Mansell to return

LONDON: Nigel Mansell is returning to grand prix racing.<\/p>\n
The 1992 Formula One champion will compete in the new Grand
\nPrix Masters series with other former world champions like Alain
\nProst and Emerson Fittipaldi.<\/p>\n
The inaugural race in the series takes place Nov. 13 in
\nKyalami, South Africa.<\/p>\n
\"In one word, the Masters is going to be an awesome
\nchallenge,\" Mansell told Autosport magazine. \"It's back to the
\nold days in terms of racing.\"<\/p>\n
Up to 16 drivers are expected to take part in the opening
\nround. The schedule for 2006 has yet to be determined.<\/p>\n
The series will run cars based on the 1999 Reynard Champ Car,
