Journalist never repents<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A senior female journalist for a Sumatra
\nnewspaper was briefly questioned yesterday by security officers
\nfor speculating on the next cabinet lineup.<\/p>\n
The woman drew a large crowd at a press center when she read
\nout a list of the next cabinet lineup to fellow reporters and a
\ntelevision crew treated her like an authoritative official.<\/p>\n
When the "news briefing" was over, plainclothesmen approached
\nand led her outside.<\/p>\n
"There is nothing to worry about. They asked me what I was
\ndoing and who my source was," she said on returning to the press
\nroom.<\/p>\n
She was not repentant and helped other reporters curious about
\nthe list she said she had obtained from the Indonesian section of
\nthe BBC and Hilversum radio interviews with Indonesian sources.
