        "content": "<p>Temanggung (ANTARA) - Joint personnel from the Regional Disaster\nManagement Agency (BPBD), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI),\nthe National Police (Polri), Perum Perhutani, and local community\nmembers successfully extinguished a forest and land fire in the Mount\nSindoro area, Temanggung Regency, Central Java, on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Temanggung Regency BPBD, Totok Nursetyanto, stated\nthat the fire occurred within the Perum Perhutani forest area,\nspecifically in Plot 11 J, Seceker Block, Kwadungan Forest Management\nUnit, Temanggung BKPH, North Kedu KPH, within the administrative area of\nKatekan Village, Ngadirejo District.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fire was successfully extinguished thanks to the promptness of\nthe joint personnel who moved immediately after receiving information\nregarding smoke in the forest area,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the initial information regarding the smoke was\nreceived at approximately 14:12 WIB from KRPH Jumprit Nur Sulis. This\ninformation was then forwarded to the relevant officers to ensure\nimmediate handling.<\/p>\n<p>The joint personnel subsequently moved towards the location where\nfire spots were reported in the Mount Sindoro forest area. Upon arriving\nat Plot 11 J, officers discovered several fire spots, which were\nimmediately addressed through firefighting efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers carried out the extinguishment by creating firebreaks and\ndirectly attacking the fire spots using available equipment,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The firefighting efforts were conducted collectively by joint\npersonnel involving elements from the BPBD, TNI, Polri, Perum Perhutani,\nvolunteers, and local residents. He explained that due to the alertness\nand cooperation of all personnel, the fire was successfully extinguished\nat approximately 15:03 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>After the fire was out, officers conducted monitoring to ensure there\nwere no remaining fire spots or smoke that could potentially trigger a\nre-ignition. He urged the public to increase vigilance against the\npotential for forest and land fires, particularly during the dry\nseason.<\/p>",
