A joint SAR team successfully evacuated a foreign national from\nChina, named Li Xianhua (47), in a safe condition after the climber\nslipped in the Mount Rinjani National Park (TNGR) area on Lombok, West\nNusa Tenggara (NTB).<\/p>\n
\u201cAt 04.47 Central Indonesia Time on Tuesday (15\/9), the joint SAR\nteam arrived at the TNGR Senaru Post together with the victim. The\nvictim was immediately evacuated to the Nusa Medica Clinic in Sembalun\nfor further medical treatment,\u201d said the Head of the Mataram SAR Office,\nMuhamad Hariyadi, in Mataram on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The victim had previously been reported to have had an accident after\nslipping on the Senaru\u2013Batu Ceper climbing route on Mount Rinjani on\nMonday (14\/9) at around 08.00 Central Indonesia Time.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe incident caused the victim to suffer a severe blow to the head,\nresulting in a loss of consciousness,\u201d said Muhamad Hariyadi.<\/p>\n
The Mataram SAR Office received an emergency report regarding the\nincident from an EMHC representative. Following up on the information,\nthe Mataram SAR Office immediately deployed a rescue team from the\nSembalun SAR Alert Unit.<\/p>\n
To expedite the rescue process, additional personnel from the Mataram\nSAR Office and the Bangsal SAR Alert Unit were also dispatched to the\nscene.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe immediately responded swiftly to this report of a\nlife-threatening condition. The main priority was to reach the victim as\nquickly as possible to provide initial medical assistance, given that\nthe victim was reported to have suffered a head injury and had lost\nconsciousness,\u201d said Muhamad Hariyadi.<\/p>\n
He said that in carrying out the operation, the rescue team was\nequipped with adequate SAR primary equipment, including mountaineering\ngear, medical evacuation equipment, operational vehicles, and other\nsupporting apparatus.<\/p>\n
The success of the SAR operation was due in no small part to the\nsynergy of the joint SAR elements, comprising the Mount Rinjani National\nPark Office (TNGR), the East Lombok SAR Unit, EMHC, the Nusa Medica\nClinic in Sembalun, the Sembalun Police Sector, the Sembalun Military\nCommand, as well as local porters and climbing guides.<\/p>\n
Thanks to solid cooperation between the various elements in the\nfield, at around 20.15 Central Indonesia Time the rescue team succeeded\nin reaching the victim. The evacuation was subsequently carried out in\nrelay fashion, from the team that had initially provided treatment,\ntowards the TNGR Senaru Post.<\/p>\n
