The search for the victims is being conducted\nby a joint SAR team comprising various elements, including Basarnas and\nthe Biak Numfor Police.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe joint SAR team has expanded the search up to one mile from the\ncrime scene,\u201d stated the Head of Public Relations for the Papua Regional\nPolice, Commissioner Cahyo Sukarnative, in Jayapura on Wednesday. As of\nthe third day of searching, the joint SAR team has yet to find the\nbodies of the three missing individuals, identified as Yulianus Raubaba\n(26), Lae Madura (45), and Abis Marandof (27).<\/p>\n
However, Cahyo noted that based on reports received, the search was\nexpanded after the joint SAR team discovered fragments suspected to be\nhuman organs on Monday (1\/6). These fragments were immediately\ntransported and stored at the Biak Regional General Hospital (RSUD)\nmortuary to undergo identification by the Indonesian National Police\u2019s\nDisaster Victim Identification (DVI) team. \u201cIdentification is being\ncarried out to determine the identity of the discovered organ\nfragments,\u201d said Cahyo.<\/p>\n
