Joint officers searched residential cells, inmates\u2019 personal\nbelongings, and several targeted surveillance points. Although no drugs\nor mobile phones were discovered, officers seized several items\nprohibited within residential cells, including cables, plugs, and\nmodified heating devices. All items have been documented and will be\ndealt with according to regulations.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of\nCorrections for Jakarta, Wachid Wibowo, who personally monitored the\nactivity, emphasised that achieving Zero Halinar requires both integrity\nand cross-agency collaboration.<\/p>\n
\u201cZero Halinar requires integrity and working together. Synergy with\nthe TNI, Polri, BNN, and law enforcement agencies must continue to be\nstrengthened through concrete steps, ranging from early detection to the\nprevention of any potential security disturbances,\u201d Wachid asserted.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Head of BNNK East Jakarta, Kombes Almas B Arrasuli,\nemphasised the importance of consistent collaboration in preventing drug\ncirculation within prison environments. According to him, joint\nsupervision and early detection are vital components in narrowing the\npotential for drugs to enter and circulate within prisons.<\/p>\n
The joint raid also reinforces the implementation of the 15 Action\nProgrammes of the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services for\n2026, specifically the eradication of drug trafficking and fraudulent\nactors using various modes within Prisons and Detention Centres.<\/p>\n
