Therefore, we must
continue to strengthen solidarity and synergy in every task execution,”
Sigit said in his remarks on Thursday.

According to Sigit, the troop mobilisation review represented a
readiness check for personnel and infrastructure, as well as a
demonstration of cross-sectoral synergistic commitment to ensure the
success of securing the Eid homecoming and the celebration of Eid
al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

The operation involves 161,243 combined personnel from the National
Police, military, and various related ministries and agencies.

To support security operations, the National Police has prepared
2,746 posts comprising 1,624 security posts, 779 service posts, and 343
integrated posts.

These posts will function as information centres and service
facilities for citizens travelling during the Eid homecoming and return
period.

Additionally, authorities will focus security efforts on 185,607
facilities spread across various regions.

Based on a survey by the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, potential
population movement during Eid 2026 is estimated to reach 143.9 million
people.

This figure represents a slight decrease compared to the previous
year, which reached 146.4 million people.

Nevertheless, Sigit emphasised that all personnel must remain
prepared to anticipate potential increases in the number of
travellers.

“Moreover, there are government policy stimulus measures that provide
convenience and ease for people to undertake the homecoming journey,
including toll road discounts and public transport tickets, as well as
the work-from-anywhere policy,” he said.

Sigit also reminded of the importance of preparedness against
potential security disturbances during the homecoming period.
",
