        "content": "<p>Jobless physicians <br>\nneed assignments<\/p>\n<p>From Warta Kota<\/p>\n<p>The foreign medical personnel sent to Aceh and probably also <br>\nNias comprise not only specialists but also junior practitioners, <br>\nso that they will have experience in handling various cases not <br>\nfound in their countries.<\/p>\n<p>Why hasn't this government assigned our new (Indonesian) <br>\nmedical graduates to Aceh and Nias? According to TV reports, the <br>\nMinistry of Health sends doctors to Aceh, but there have been no <br>\nannouncements or ads to notify young physicians of the vacancies.<\/p>\n<p>A large number of medical graduates are jobless because they <br>\ndo not have a practicing license, which will only be issued after <br>\ncompulsory regional assignments. This is in fact a good <br>\nopportunity to send the young doctors now ready for regional <br>\nduties.<\/p>\n<p>The rare opportunity, therefore, should not just be enjoyed by <br>\njunior doctors from advanced countries, leaving our own young <br>\nphysicians disappointed and jobless.<\/p>\n<p>S.
