According to JLL, the rise is driven by labour shortages,\nmaterial price pressures, and the growing complexity of mechanical,\nelectrical and building technology systems.<\/p>\n<p>The Asia Pacific Office Fit-Out Costs Guide 2026 presents market\ntrends and factors influencing office fit-out costs across 27 cities in\n14 countries in the Asia Pacific region. The guide identifies\nopportunities as well as key challenges in capital expenditure planning\nand office fit-out strategies in an increasingly complex business\nenvironment in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Regionally, the average office fit-out cost in Asia Pacific reaches\n1,550 US dollars per square metre, with an annual increase of 2\u20135\npercent. Compared with major cities in Southeast Asia, Jakarta has lower\noffice fit-out costs than Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and\nBangkok.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Office Leasing Advisory at JLL Indonesia, Rosari Chia, said\nthe comparison helps companies understand cost differences between\ncities so they can plan investment and office design standards more\naccurately.
