        "content": "<p>Mujizat (50), a resident of Tondo Village, Palu City, Central\nSulawesi, has utilised the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme to\nrecover from hyperthyroidism. \u201cFor the last three years, I have been\nundergoing routine treatment because I was diagnosed with\nhyperthyroidism,\u201d said Mujizat in Palu on Wednesday. He expressed deep\ngratitude that amidst economic limitations, the JKN programme provided\npeace of mind. \u201cIn 2023, I had a fever for days and something was\ndifferent about my neck, as it looked swollen. I thought that once my\nfever subsided, my neck would also improve. But it did not; instead, it\nbecame more inflamed,\u201d Mujizat recounted. \u201cAfter being treated for\nseveral days and undergoing several examinations, I was finally\ndiagnosed with hyperthyroidism and a heart condition. I was quite\nworried, fearing there would be additional costs to pay because I had to\ntake medication regularly and have monthly blood tests,\u201d he revealed.\nThree years into treatment, Mujizat has never incurred any costs for his\ncare and his condition has increasingly improved. The lump in his neck\nhas shrunk, although his weight continues to drop even though his\nappetite has returned to normal. He has been a JKN participant under the\nContribution Assistance Beneficiary (PBI) segment for ten years. Mujizat\nstated he has always received good treatment during his care. \u201cI am very\nsatisfied with the service at Talise Community Health Centre and\nAnutapura General Hospital. Throughout my treatment, the nurses and\ndoctors handling my case were all friendly and provided clear\nexplanations. That made me enthusiastic about undergoing treatment,\u201d he\nadded. Mujizat hopes the JKN programme will continue to provide health\nprotection for all Indonesians. The National Health Insurance (JKN)\nprogramme exists to ensure the basic needs of the community in terms of\nhealth can be met. Through this programme, all Indonesians have equal\nrights to better protect their health and it is expected to eliminate\npublic worries about unaffordable healthcare costs.<\/p>",
