        "content": "<p>Jepara (ANTARA) - The Jepara Regency Government in Central Java has\nproposed the revitalisation of 199 schools to the Ministry of Basic and\nSecondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) of the Republic of Indonesia, as an\neffort to improve the quality of educational facilities and\ninfrastructure in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe education sector is the spearhead of regional development.\nTherefore, the Jepara Regency Government is committed to preparing a\nsuperior generation that is characterful, religious, and ready to face\nfuture challenges,\u201d said Regent of Jepara Witiarso Utomo, in Jepara on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that this commitment is manifested through various\nstrategic programmes, one of which is the improvement of educational\nfacility quality in Jepara Regency.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the Jepara Regency Government has realised the\nrevitalisation of 103 educational units consisting of six early\nchildhood education units, 58 primary schools, and 39 junior secondary\nschools with a 100 per cent achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, for 2026, the Jepara Regency Government has again\nsubmitted a proposal for revitalisation assistance for 199 schools to\nKemendikdasmen. Currently, the proposal is still in the verification\nstage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI request prayers and support so that all these submissions can be\napproved and provide broader benefits for education in Jepara,\u201d said\nWitiarso.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to focusing on infrastructure, the Jepara Regency\nGovernment is also rolling out several flagship programmes in the\neducation sector, including the Prosperous Teacher Card and the Jepara\nScholar Card.<\/p>\n<p>To date, 10,827 teachers have received benefits from the Prosperous\nTeacher Card programme. Meanwhile, 2,398 students and university\nstudents have received scholarships through the Jepara Scholar Card\nprogramme.<\/p>\n<p>In 2026, the Jepara Scholar Card programme will continue for previous\nrecipients and be added with new recipients supported by the National\nZakat Agency (Baznas). Cooperation with various universities is also\nbeing strengthened to support the continuity of the programme.<\/p>\n<p>The Prosperous Teacher Card programme will also be expanded with a\ntarget of 18,364 recipients.<\/p>",
