Hundreds of residents under the banner of the Forum Masyarakat Jember\nMaju held a peaceful rally to support the government\u2019s policy of\ncontinuing the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme, which they consider\nbeneficial for the community. The peaceful action took place in front of\nthe Jember DPRD building in East Java on Saturday, with participants\ncarrying posters supporting MBG.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe support and safeguard the government\u2019s strategic programmes,\nespecially the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG), the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih\n(KDMP), and Sekolah Rakyat,\u201d said action coordinator Agus Nur Yasin at\nthe Jember DPRD. He also called on President Prabowo to immediately\nconduct a comprehensive evaluation of the National Nutrition Agency\u2019s\n(BGN) system and governance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also ready to be at the forefront of the commitment to break\nthe chain of poverty, enhance the nation\u2019s intellectual life, and\nrealise the Golden Indonesia 2045,\u201d he said. He added that they are\nprepared to safeguard the government\u2019s strategic programmes in order to\nachieve a prosperous Indonesia, based on the 1945 Constitution, which\nstipulates that one of Indonesia\u2019s national ideals is to enhance the\nnation\u2019s intellectual life and advance public welfare.<\/p>\n
