        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) opened stronger at\nthe start of trading on Wednesday (6\/5\/2026), continuing positive\nsentiment from the previous session.<\/p>\n<p>Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the JCI opened\nat 7,086.34, up 0.41% from the previous close at 7,057.11.<\/p>\n<p>The JCI reached a high of 7,117.19 and a low of 7,054.50 in early\ntrading.<\/p>\n<p>Trading activity was brisk, with a volume of 3.744 billion shares and\ntransaction value of around Rp 2.146 trillion across 266,500\ntransactions.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the JCI\u2019s strengthening, several major stock indices\nalso moved into positive territory. The LQ45 Index rose 0.88 points or\n0.13% to 682.46. The Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) strengthened 2.48\npoints or 0.53% to 468.60.<\/p>\n<p>The KOMPAS100 Index was up 0.91 points or 0.10% to 954.87. The ISSI\nIndex gained 0.75 points or 0.30% to 253.49.<\/p>\n<p>Gains were also seen in the IDX30 Index, which rose 0.81 points or\n0.21% to 380.20, and the JII70 Index, which added 0.76 points or 0.42%\nto 181.71.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts project the JCI to continue its upward trend today. In the\nprevious session, the JCI closed up 85 points or 1.22% at 7,057.106.<\/p>\n<p>MNC Sekuritas technical analyst Herditya Wicaksana assessed that the\nJCI still has room for further increases, although market participants\ntend to be cautious ahead of the release of US employment data scheduled\nfor Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, external sentiment is still overshadowed by rising\ngeopolitical tensions in the Middle East region.
