        "content": "<p>Jasindo-INTI insurance<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The state-owned insurance company PT Asuransi<br>\nJasa Indonesia (Jasindo) signed yesterday the extension of an<br>\ninsurance agreement with the state-owned telecommunications<br>\nequipment manufacturer PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia<br>\n(INTI).<\/p>\n<p>Jasindo's president, Amir Imam Poero, said that the agreement,<br>\nfirst signed in 1991 and renewed every two years, covers all<br>\nassets of PT INTI.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PT INTI's president, Arsyad Ismael, said that the<br>\ncompany's assets reached Rp 350 billion (US$157 million) and the<br>\nvalue of its insurance policy reached Rp 50 billion last year.<\/p>\n<p>He estimated that the company's net profits will increase from<br>\nRp 25 billion last year to Rp 30 billion this year.<\/p>\n<p>PT INTI, which produces telecommunications switchboards, small<br>\nearth stations, transmission facilities and telephone terminals,<br>\nsells 70 percent of its products to PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia<br>\nand the remaining 30 percent to the state-owned domestic<br>\ntelecommunications monopoly, PT Indosat and other<br>\ntelecommunications firms.(04)<\/p>",
