Senior General Manager of JNT Regional Division, Tyas Pramoda\nWardhani, stated that the figure covers the period from 11 to 18 March\n2026. \u201cTraffic volume on the MKTT toll road increased by 13.16% compared\nto normal conditions,\u201d Tyas said in an official statement received in\nMedan, North Sumatra, on Thursday. Tyas noted that of the total traffic\nvolume, 43,942 vehicles departed from Medan city via the Amplas Toll\nGate. Meanwhile, the company recorded 138,751 vehicles exiting Kualanamu\nAirport and 47,118 vehicles heading towards Kualanamu Airport. Tyas\nadded that traffic volume exiting Kualanamu Airport rose by 17.29%,\nwhile that heading towards the airport increased by 17.44%. Overall,\nTyas stated that traffic volume across the five toll sections under\nRegional Nusantara for the same period also saw an increase, recording\n1,506,134 vehicles. \u201cThis figure represents a 3.34% rise compared to\nnormal conditions,\u201d she said. In preparation for Eid al-Fitr 2026, she\nemphasised that the company has undertaken various measures to ensure\ntoll road users travel safely and comfortably.
