Bekasi (ANTARA) - PT. Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) is continuing\nperiodic maintenance work on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road in order to\nprovide a safe and comfortable journey for the public, as well as to\nstrengthen operational readiness in anticipation of the 1447 Hijri Eid\nal-Fitr exodus.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis activity is part of the company\u2019s ongoing commitment to\nmaintaining service quality, especially in the lead-up to the Eid\nal-Fitr homecoming period, which is synonymous with increased public\nmobility,\u201d said Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT. JTT, Amri\nSanusi, in Bekasi, West Java, on Thursday.<\/p>\n
He explained that the maintenance activities include patching at\nseveral priority locations based on the results of routine road\ncondition inspections as a form of preventive maintenance to ensure that\nthe pavement quality remains optimal and comfortable for travel. The\nwork is carried out in a planned manner while still paying attention to\nthe safety of road users.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have carried out the patching work from Km 14+570 to Km 14+820 in\nthe direction of Cikampek on lane 1, and from Km 23+750 to Km 23+800 in\nthe direction of Cikampek on lane 1. All work is carried out at times\nthat have been carefully calculated to minimise the impact on traffic\nflow,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the work, the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road remains operational\nin both directions. Our officers are on standby in the field, we are\nnarrowing the work area, and we have prepared a contraflow scheme if\nneeded. All of this is done to ensure that traffic flow remains smooth\nand safe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The company is also disseminating information through warning banners\nat the work locations and \u201cDynamic Message Signs\u201d (DMS) on both sides of\nthe Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to ensure that road users receive the\ninformation clearly.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe apologise for any inconvenience that may arise during the work.\nWe urge road users to plan their travel time, ensure that their vehicles\nare in good condition, and comply with traffic signs and directions from\nofficers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Road users can also access the latest information about toll road\ntraffic and service requests through Jasa Marga\u2019s 24-hour call centre at\n14080.<\/p>\n
