Tangerang \u2013 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Regional Division,\nwhich manages the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road section, is accelerating\nrepair works across 92 damaged road points to ensure the safety and\ncomfort of motorists during the 2026 Eid holiday period.<\/p>\n
Senior General Manager Widiyatmiko Nursejati stated that the operator\nwill continue to optimise repair efforts ahead of the peak travel season\nby deploying multiple teams in the field.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are continuously optimising repair efforts by deploying several\nmaintenance teams working in phases at various points. Currently we have\nthree reconstruction teams with 15 personnel each, one Scrapping,\nFilling, and Overlay (SFO) team with 10 personnel, and six patching\nteams with five personnel each,\u201d explained Widiyatmiko in a statement\nreceived in Tangerang, Banten on Saturday.<\/p>\n
He acknowledged that maintenance work has faced various challenges in\nrecent weeks, including persistently high rainfall in the Greater\nJakarta area. According to him, the heavy rainfall affects the\nload-bearing capacity of road layers, whilst the high volume of heavy\nvehicles passing through, including overloaded trucks, creates repeated\nstress on road structures that compounds deterioration.<\/p>\n
\u201cCurrently, pavement repairs are being conducted in phases along the\nJakarta-Tangerang Toll Road section, with priority treatment from\nkilometre 8 to kilometre 26,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Additionally, he stated that the operator is also accelerating repair\nwork ahead of peak travel volumes to ensure road capacity can serve\nholiday travellers optimally.<\/p>\n
\u201cPermanent repair work such as reconstruction and SFO can still be\ncarried out until 15 March 2026, taking into account that we are\nentering the peak Eid travel period of 1447 Hijri,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cMeanwhile, temporary repairs such as patching can continue\nthroughout the holiday travel and return service period through our\npothole sealing teams that regularly sweep the entire toll section,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n
He noted that since 11 March 2026, pavement repairs have been\nconducted at various points on the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road section,\nincluding: KM 26+500 to KM 26+400 eastbound lane 2, KM 25+600 to KM\n25+300 eastbound lane 3, and KM 25+100 to KM 25+000 eastbound lane\n3.<\/p>\n
Additionally: KM 18+280 eastbound lane 2, KM 11+000 to KM 10+900\neastbound lane 2, KM 12+100 to KM 12+400 westbound lane 2, KM 21+610 to\nKM 21+750 westbound lane 2, KM 25+100 to KM 25+150 westbound lane 2, and\nKM 25+050 to KM 25+400 westbound lane 3.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, pavement maintenance work continued Thursday evening (12\nMarch) using patching methods at 92 work points distributed across both\ndirections of the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road.<\/p>\n
\u201cForty-nine work points are located on eastbound lane covering KM\n2+100 to KM 26+300, whilst the remaining 43 points are on westbound lane\ncovering KM 1+700 to KM 23+150. Work is scheduled from 22.00 to 04.30 to\nminimise potential disruption to traffic flow,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Jasa Marga apologised for any inconvenience experienced by road users\nwhilst travelling through sections with poor pavement conditions. The\noperator assured that repair work will continue in phases in the field,\nprioritising points requiring urgent attention.<\/p>\n
