        "content": "<p>Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division (JNT\/Regional\nNusantara) recorded 319,629 vehicles passing through the\nMedan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) toll road during the 2026 Eid\nholiday period. \u201cThe traffic volume figure is counted from 11-27 March\n2026,\u201d said General Director of PT Jasamarga, Rivan A Purwanto, in an\nofficial statement received in Medan on Saturday, 28 March 2026. He\nstated that during the Eid holiday, the public made extensive use of the\ntoll road services, as the recorded figure showed an increase of 24.52%\ncompared to normal conditions. Rivan said that from the total traffic\nvolume, 97,303 vehicles entered from the Kualanamu Gate from Kualanamu\nAirport. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Kualanamu Airport were recorded\nat 103,894 through the Kualanamu Toll Gate. \u201cVehicles originating from\nKualanamu Airport increased by 21.54%, and those heading to Kualanamu\nAirport increased by 20.89%,\u201d he said. Overall, he noted that the\ntraffic volume crossing the four toll road sections under Regional\nNusantara during the same period also experienced an increase, recording\n3,294,279 vehicles. For Eid 2026, he emphasised that the company had\nmade various preparations to ensure that toll road users travel safely\nand comfortably. Rivan said the company added operational toll booths to\nspeed up transactions, provided mobile riders, and added electronic\nmoney top-up points to facilitate road users. Furthermore, they deployed\npersonnel to identify potential security and public order risk areas,\nprovided posts, and ensured 100% functionality of Sisinfokom facilities,\nparticularly closed-circuit television (CCTV) for lanes and toll gate\nqueues.
