This appeal was conveyed by the Coordinating Minister for Human\nDevelopment and Culture (Menko PMK) Pratikno, National Police Chief\nGeneral Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi\nduring an inspection of return flow readiness at the Jasamarga Tollroad\nCommand Centre (JMTC) on Wednesday (25\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono explained that this\nfare incentive aims to break up vehicle density, which is predicted to\npeak at the end of this weekend.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe once again remind the public to take advantage of the toll\ndiscount on 26-27 March and use the Travoy application to plan their\njourneys better. Our main focus now is to anticipate the peak return\nflow on 28-29 March 2026,\u201d said Rivan.<\/p>\n
Jasa Marga data records that the outbound flow on 18 March 2026\nreached the highest figure in history with a volume of 270,000 vehicles.\nTo prevent similar build-ups during the return flow, Transport Minister\nDudy Purwagandhi advised the public not to return simultaneously on\nSaturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope the public can utilise the Work From Anywhere (WFA) policy\nas well as the 30% toll discount. With earlier returns, density at the\npeak return flow can be alleviated,\u201d said Dudy.<\/p>\n
He also emphasised that goods vehicles with three or more axles must\ncontinue to comply with operational restrictions in effect until 29\nMarch as per the Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB).<\/p>\n
On the security side, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit\nPrabowo assured that his side continues to monitor volume per capacity\nratio (VCR) indicators in real-time to determine when one-way or\ncontraflow engineering will be implemented.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe urge those who have not yet returned to take advantage of the\nremaining travel time (through the toll discount) so that the peak\nreturn flow can be dispersed. Safety remains the priority; do not force\nyourself if tired and rest immediately at a rest area,\u201d stressed the\nNational Police Chief (H-3).<\/p>\n
