        "content": "<p>Japek II Selatan has been opened for traffic distribution, thereby\nreducing congestion at KM 66 on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has ensured service\nreadiness and strengthened operations to anticipate the return flow of\nEid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah on 28-29 March 2026, in line with projections\nfrom the Ministry of Transportation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe potential for increased return traffic is still estimated to\noccur during the weekend period up to 28-29 March 2026,\u201d said Jasa Marga\nPresident Director Rivan A. Purwantono in a statement in Jakarta on\nSaturday.<\/p>\n<p>Rivan noted that several rest areas on the Trans Java Toll Road\ntowards Jakarta are likely to experience congestion, particularly at KM\n229B and KM 208B on the Palikanci section, as well as KM 164B on the\nCipali section.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, road users are advised to adjust their travel patterns by\nutilising alternative rest areas, either before those points such as at\nKM 360B and KM 380B on the Batang-Semarang section, or afterwards at KM\n130B on the Cipali section.<\/p>\n<p>As a precautionary measure, continued Rivan, in accordance with\npolice discretion, an open-close scheme will be applied at rest area KM\n62B, along with the situational temporary closure of rest area KM 52B on\nthe Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section.<\/p>\n<p>He also reminded return flow participants from Bandung towards\nJakarta that they can use the Jakarta-Cikampek II Selatan Toll Road\n(Japek II Selatan), which has been opened functionally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJapek II Selatan has been opened for traffic distribution, thus\nreducing congestion at KM 66 on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>Through Travoy, road users can monitor real-time traffic conditions,\nlearn about rest area locations along with their facilities and\ncapacities.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, information on the availability of petrol stations or\nPublic Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) can be accessed,\nallowing road users to plan fuel or electric vehicle charging more\noptimally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd there is no need to enter rest areas that do not suit their\nneeds,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He hopes that all road users will remain disciplined in driving. On\none-way lanes, the right lane and road shoulder are not intended for\novertaking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf intending to slow down, still use the left lane as per\nregulations to maintain collective safety,\u201d said Rivan.<\/p>\n<p>Jasa Marga also urges the public to prepare their journeys well,\nstarting from ensuring the driver\u2019s physical condition is prime, the\nvehicle is roadworthy, to planning departure times considering current\ntraffic conditions.<\/p>\n<p>PT Jasa Marga recorded that traffic conditions returning to the\nJabotabek area during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H\/2026 return flow period on\n26-27 March 2026 tended to be dispersed.<\/p>\n<p>After the highest return traffic to Jabotabek occurred on 24 March\n2026 (256,338 vehicles), Jasa Marga recorded traffic also dispersed on\n25 March 2026 with 206,243 vehicles and 26 March 2026 with 192,122\nvehicles.<\/p>\n<p>These figures represent cumulative traffic flow from four main Toll\nGates (GT), namely GT Cikampek Main (from the Trans Java direction), GT\nKalihurip Main and GT Functional Japek II Selatan (from the Bandung\ndirection), GT Cikupa (from the Merak direction), and GT Ciawi (from the\nPuncak direction).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe high volume of vehicles at the end of this weekend will also\nimpact increased activity of toll road users at rest areas,\u201d said\nRivan.<\/p>",
