I am very happy to meet Your Excellency again\nafter our last meeting at the APEC Summit in South Korea last November,\nwhere we sat side by side,\u201d said Sanae during the bilateral meeting\nsession at Akasaka Palace, Tokyo, on Tuesday (31\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Sanae stated that cooperation between Japan and Indonesia is\nprogressing well, particularly in the economic and security sectors. She\nencouraged strengthening this cooperation to prosper the Indo-Pacific\nregion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am grateful for the progress in various areas of cooperation\nbetween Japan and Indonesia, especially in the fields of economy and\nsecurity,\u201d said Sanae.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want us to strengthen and prosper the Indo-Pacific region together\nfor the realisation of a free and open Indo-Pacific,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>It is known that Prabowo is on his first official visit to Japan from\n29-31 March 2026.
