        "content": "<p>Japanese killed in Batam<\/p>\n<p>BATAM, Riau: A 48-year-old Japanese man, suspected of a hit-<br>\nand-run accident, died instantly after he crashed into a police<br>\ncar following a two-hour car chase.<\/p>\n<p>Sakanoto Kayuza reportedly fled the scene after he allegedly<br>\nhit four ojek (motorcycle taxi) drivers. He was then chased by<br>\nother motorcycle drivers and the local police.<\/p>\n<p>Police fired at Kayuza&apos;s car, sending it crashing into<br>\nanother police car before it flipped over near the Nan Tongga<br>\nHotel in the Jodoh Batam area.<\/p>\n<p>Barelang deputy police chief Adj.
