        "content": "<p>Japan provides $14.29m grant<\/p>\n<p>The Japanese government signed here on Thursday a grant facility<br>\nfor Indonesia worth 1.856 billion yen (US$14.29 million) to help<br>\nfund several government projects.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by the charge d'affaires of the<br>\nJapanese Embassy in Jakarta, Hideaki Domichi, and Indonesian<br>\nforeign ministry's Director General for Asia Pacific and Africa<br>\nMakarim Wibisono.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press statement issued by the embassy, some<br>\n$4.15 million of the grant would be used to improve facilities at<br>\nthe news division of the state-owned TV station Televisi Republic<br>\nIndonesia (TVRI).<\/p>\n<p>Some $900.000 would be used to support the implementation of<br>\nthe fiscal decentralization program, while the remaining $9.24<br>\nmillion would be used for food production programs.-- JP<\/p>",
