"summary": "Japan has downgraded its diplomatic assessment of China for the first time in a decade, describing it merely as 'an important neighbour' instead of a key partner, amid escalating tensions triggered by Tokyo's hints at potential military intervention in a Taiwan conflict. The foreign ministry's annual bluebook accuses Beijing of intimidating measures against Japan, coinciding with a sharp drop in Chinese tourism and tightened trade restrictions. This souring of relations between the world's second- and fourth-largest economies underscores the end of the post-Cold War era of relative peace, as outlined in the report.",
